Working with Premier Chris Minns we’ve secured the future of Revesby Police Station with a $8.3 million upgrade on the existing site.
This upgrade will allow for the intersection of The River Road, Sphinx Avenue and Marco Avenue to be realigned with support from the Federal Government.
All three levels of Government have worked tirelessly to resolve the complex and hazardous intersection, while also ensuring the Revesby Police Station remains centrally located to continue serving the community.
We promised to keep the people of Revesby safe, that’s why we’re keeping Revesby Police Station at its current location, right where it belongs.
After 12 years of inaction by the former Liberal Government, we’re backing our police force by:
- Securing this central and strategically significant location for the long term, and
- Giving our police the road upgrades to help them respond to incidents quicker.
The Minns Labor Government is also taking real action to strengthen our police force by appointing 121 new police recruits in the local area, and overseeing a 70 per cent surge in police officer job applications.
There is still more to do, and we are committed to backing our police force and keeping our community safe.
