Before I was elected in 2023, I made a commitment to find a site for a new police station in the Revesby area, freeing up space to upgrade the intersection on The River Road. Many residents have raised concerns about this dangerous and confusing intersection, and I take those concerns seriously.

For 12 years the former Liberal State Government ignored the traffic nightmare on The River Road, Marco Avenue and Sphinx Avenue intersection. I am working with all three levels of government to make sure this commitment is delivered in the best way for motorists and pedestrians.

We are now at a stage where Council will draft up designs to improve the safety of the intersection. If the only way to improve the safety of the intersection is to move the Revesby Police Station, it will be moved to a new site in the Revesby area.
